What is the work methodology adopted for research?
As a first step we understand and map precise requirements. The research methodology is designed based on this information. A Project Lead (PL) is identified for the purposes of the engagement. The PL further identifies the research associate or the team and they together execute the project. All available repositories of public and selected private databases are accessed for the study. Many clients often give us access to select databases, articles and ideas. Brickwork believes in a coordinated effort for the engagement and client involvement is necessary and essential for the success of the engagement. This facilitates a smooth exchange of thoughts and ideas between both parties. A final report is then arrived at to meet the specific requirements.

 

What are the subscriptions that you have access to?

Over the years, we have built up a vast knowledge repository and have access to many paid and free journals and databases. Our clients provide us access to specific databases and journals based on their need. Some projects have also been undertaken with the help of access to private financial databases provided by our clients.

 

What if the project requires access to databases to which you do not have access?

In the event that Brickwork does not have access to a particular database or third party subscriptions, then the client typically provides necessary access.

 

Can you perform primary research?

Brickwork can undertake primary research within India. The research is based on initial market study, secondary research, sample selection, questionnaire, interviews, tabulation and analysis. Some clients want us to validate the study with secondary sources.
