The Taxation Analyst is responsible for US corporate tax compliance and tax accounting. The candidate will support federal and state income tax filings, tax provision calculations, compliance reporting, and tax-related analysis. Job Description:

Tax Compliance

  • Prepare and review US Federal and State corporate income tax returns and related workpapers.
  • Support quarterly estimated tax calculations and annual tax filings.
  • Assist in preparing tax schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Tax Provision & Reporting

  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740.
  • Support deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analysis, and tax account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with accounting teams during month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Maintain tax records and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

Tax Research & Analysis

  • Conduct tax research on federal and state tax regulations.
  • Analyse tax impacts of business transactions and operational changes.
  • Monitor tax law changes and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing technical memos and tax-related documentation.

Audit Support

  • Support federal and state tax audits by gathering and analyzing requested information.
  • Assist in responding to notices and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and supporting schedules.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance tax compliance processes and controls.
  • Support automation initiatives and utilization of tax technology tools.
  • Assist in improving reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
