Recruitment Fraud Alert

This is to notify to the public that Brickwork India Private Limited (“Brickwork”) follows a merit-based employee recruitment practice with extensive screening steps. Brickwork does not charge/accept any amount or security deposit from job seekers during the recruitment process. It was observed that certain individuals claiming themselves as employees, representatives, agents of Brickwork and its group companies and are unauthorizedly posting fraudulent jobs openings/ contacting jobseekers using the name, trademark, and logo of Brickwork. These scammers sometimes even conduct fraudulent interviews with an attempt to obtain personal information or money from the applicants with a view to tarnishing the image and reputation of Brickwork.

In case you or any candidate receives any unsolicited or fraudulent communication regarding a job offer or an interview call against payment of money, please stay alert and recognize it as a scam. On receipt of an interview call, to prevent falling victim to the same, the candidate may take some measures such as writing an email to HRSPOC@brickworkindia.com to verify the source and authenticity.

Disclaimer: How to identify Recruitment Fraud

  • Brickwork encourages fair dealing across all levels and to all stakeholders. There shall be no discrimination on grounds of race, religion, gender, place of origin or caste.
  • Brickwork never requests fees in any form from the candidates, job applicants, potential job seekers, who have applied or wish to apply to us, whether online or otherwise as a pre-employment requirement for any purpose during or after the hiring process.
  • The hiring process involves at least one interview (virtual or in-person). Brickwork will not request an interview on any instant messaging applications.
  • Brickwork follows a formal recruitment process through its own HR department and applications are evaluated by its HR department through pre-defined processes. HR team corresponds from email addresses with the domain “@brickworkindia.com”. However, there is also a possibility of scammers displaying the sent email domain address as “@brickworkindia.com” fraudulently. Nevertheless, receiving emails will be possible only with the legitimate “@brickworkindia.com” domain. In case any generic email ID ending with Gmail/Yahoo domain is copied while receiving a job offer or interview call, please be alert of the likelihood of a scammer.
  • Brickwork’s HR team does not request or require personal documents like bank account details, tax forms or credit card information as part of the recruitment process.
  • Brickwork shall not accept any liability for amounts being deposited / withdrawn therefrom in response to such fake offers.
  • Brickwork reserves the right to take legal action, including criminal action, against such individuals/entities.

Brickwork strongly recommends that the potential jobseekers should not respond to such fake solicitations, in any manner; If you are in doubt or unsure about the source of job offer, please enquire with us to confirm if the offers or promotions are genuine.
